A few days after we built our Body Hollow, a classic Nor'easter hit the area.
After it was over, we went to see how our new shelter had weathered the storm...
It was still standing, and looked none the worse for wear
Eddie opened it up to check inside.
It was a bit damp on one side near the door, but much of that was the result of the heavy rain percolating down through the sandy soil. The rest of the shelter was still dry, even after all that rain.
All in all, this shelter performed exceptionally well in extreme weather conditions.
To learn more about shelters, check out our upcoming Shelter Workshop on June 2 & 3, or schedule a Mentoring Session at a time that fits your schedule.
